Blasted workpieces that are subsequently anodized often cause major problems: a blotchy appearance, surfaces that are difficult to clean and an unpleasant feel are practically the norm.
In our blasting department, we work according to the ceradal® system that we developed. In the cabins, only aluminum with a blasting material specially adapted to the subsequent anodization is processed. No foreign material can enter the blasting chamber. Wide-jet high-performance nozzles ensure an absolutely homogeneous surface appearance.
In combination with the optional chemical polishing, the peaks of the macrostructure are rounded. A significantly reduced adhesion of dirt and a highly decorative look, comparable to the “lotus effect”, is achieved, which is often used in medical technology. Our ceradal® blasting media microfinish® (fine), M (medium) and XL (coarse) are available.
